A kitchen garbage disposer (also called a food waste disposer) is a household appliance installed under the kitchen sink. Its main job is to use a motor to drive grinding components that crush kitchen scraps like vegetable leaves, fruit peels, leftover food, and small animal bones into tiny particles, which then get washed down the drain with water. This helps reduce food waste at the source and makes disposal more convenient. Common disposers use either DC motors or AC induction motors, and as people demand higher living standards, newer models are being equipped with brushless motors, which offer high power, big torque, high speed, and compact size.
